Obi Touch is a palm-sized force-sensing platform that quantifies contact forces up to 50 N with 12-bit resolution at a sustained 320 Hz streaming rate. A swappable quick-mount rail lets you attach your own textures, materials, or haptic probes in seconds, making it ideal for psychophysics, robotics, or VR validation work. The device is USB-C powered and driver-free on macOS, Windows 10 +, Linux (Ubuntu, Debian) and Raspberry Pi OS. An open SDK exposes real-time data through Python, MATLAB, C++, and C#, with JSON/REST hooks for rapid prototyping. On-board zero/tare buttons, automatic temperature compensation, and a built-in OLED readout complete a rugged, lab-ready package.

Features:
> Measures normal and shear forces up to 50 N with 12-bit resolution

> Streams real-time data at 320 Hz over USB-C (bus-powered)

> Quick-swap mounting rail accepts custom textures, objects, or probes in seconds

> Plug-and-play on macOS, Windows 10+, Linux (Ubuntu, Debian) and Raspberry Pi OS — no drivers needed

> Open SDK with Python, MATLAB, C++, C# bindings + optional JSON/REST end-points

> On-device zero/tare and calibrate buttons with OLED force read-outBuilt-in temperature compensation for drift-free long experiments

> Compact, rigid chassis engineered for psychophysics, VR validation, and robotic grasp studies
